This beautiful mansion once that used to be the house of a diamond-trader in the early 1900's, now has a new destination as b&b/guesthouse. The owner used to have his ateliers next door in nr 22b. Over time, both buildings 'lived' their own lives until the opportunity came along to bring them togeteher again. In 2008, we started our restaurant 22b. In 2017 we got the chance to buy the house nextdoor and start a b&b/guesthouse. This residential neighourhood has a quite authentic atmospere because of Jewesh inhabants walking through the streets until late at night in their black outfits and typical hats. In that way, the old vibes of the diamond activities are still alive.

Cancellation : If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and extra beds : All children under 2 years stay free of charge. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children and adults are charged 30.00 EUR per night and per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds / baby cots in a room is 1. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

De Vrijdagmarkt is a quiet square that hasn’t been discovered by the big audience yet and ideal to meet local Antwerp people. Very unique and traditonal is the weekly auction on - fridays - on the ‘Vrijdagmarkt’. Here you can buy for a cheap price exclusive, retro and sometimes even valuable objects. On this square you’ll also find the world famous Plantin-Moretus museum. The only printing/publisher in the world from the Renaissances and baroque time which has kept remained. In the ‘Nationalestraat’ (= around the corner) and in the neighbourhood you can spend your money in various designer shops of famous Antwerp and international designers.
