Cancellation : If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and extra beds : All children under 2 years stay free of charge. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children and adults are charged 30.00 EUR per night and per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds / baby cots in a room is 1. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Pets : Pets are not allowed.

Matelote Hotel Antwerp is ideally situated in the old historic city center - in the quiet Haarstraat - just 100 meters from the famous Grand Place, the Cathedral, the Scheldt ... . We are surrounded by numerous cultural addresses, museums, shopping and gastronomy .. This boutique hotel is a blend of present day, trendy decor with 16th century architecture.

Matelote hotel welcomes you in one of its 10 unique rooms with free internet, free mineral water, including coffee and tea making facilities, very comfortable and luxurious bathrooms ... the address for the businessman or tourist. We offer 4 different categories of rooms. Space is the main criteria. Small cosy comfort, deluxe cosy comfort, junior suites & suite Matelote.

Please take into account we have no elevator in this historical building and that our stairs are not the most easy ones. Of course we will be happy to help you with your luggage.

Our spacious standard rooms (35m2) with kitchenette were renovated in july 2014 and have a new interior, beds, air-conditioning and flat screen TV’s with + 100 international channels. The are equipped with a working desk and separate dining table (kitchenette on request).

 We offer you the perfect alternative to a standard hotel room for business people or tourists that look for the ideal location to explore the city of Antwerp.

 Our Duplex Superior, Penthouse, Grand and Family Apartments were completely renovated in 2015 and have new interior, beds, bathrooms, air-conditioning and 2 flat screen TV’s (living room +bedroom) with + 100 international TV channels.

This beautiful mansion once that used to be the house of a diamond-trader in the early 1900's, now has a new destination as b&b/guesthouse. The owner used to have his ateliers next door in nr 22b. Over time, both buildings 'lived' their own lives until the opportunity came along to bring them togeteher again. In 2008, we started our restaurant 22b. In 2017 we got the chance to buy the house nextdoor and start a b&b/guesthouse. This residential neighourhood has a quite authentic atmospere because of Jewesh inhabants walking through the streets until late at night in their black outfits and typical hats. In that way, the old vibes of the diamond activities are still alive.
