This beautiful mansion once that used to be the house of a diamond-trader in the early 1900's, now has a new destination as b&b/guesthouse. The owner used to have his ateliers next door in nr 22b. Over time, both buildings 'lived' their own lives until the opportunity came along to bring them togeteher again. In 2008, we started our restaurant 22b. In 2017 we got the chance to buy the house nextdoor and start a b&b/guesthouse. This residential neighourhood has a quite authentic atmospere because of Jewesh inhabants walking through the streets until late at night in their black outfits and typical hats. In that way, the old vibes of the diamond activities are still alive.

You stay in the former presbytery of the St-Jozef church completely renovated by interior architects DMG Architectural Solutions. The concept of combining the showroom and the hotel makes Le Tissu unique in Antwerp.

All older children and adults are charged 30.00 EUR per night and per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds / baby cots in a room is 1. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Aparthotel Van Hecke offers spacious suites, with free wired internet, in the centre of Antwerp above the oldest waffle house in the city. It is 100 metres from Steenbergstraat Tram Stop. The apartments have a spacious living area with cable TV and kitchen facilities including microwave and refrigerator. On this square you’ll also find the world famous Plantin-Moretus museum. The only printing/publisher in the world from the Renaissances and baroque time which has kept remained.
