With its central location in the historic centre of Antwerp, the Theatre Hotel is situated in a quiet environment in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Bourla-theatre and the greatest attraction being the world-famous Rubens house, in between a variety of designer shops, cafés and bistros. The 127 elegant and spacious rooms all have mini-bar, colour television, pay tv, trouser press, coffee & tea making facilities, digital safe and wireless internet-wifi. This beautiful mansion once that used to be the house of a diamond-trader in the early 1900's, now has a new destination as b&b/guesthouse. The owner used to have his ateliers next door in nr 22b. Over time, both buildings 'lived' their own lives until the opportunity came along to bring them togeteher again. In 2008, we started our restaurant 22b. In 2017 we got the chance to buy the house nextdoor and start a b&b/guesthouse. This residential neighourhood has a quite authentic atmospere because of Jewesh inhabants walking through the streets until late at night in their black outfits and typical hats. In that way, the old vibes of the diamond activities are still alive.
