Aplace is located in the middle of the old town of Antwerp. On the corner of ‘de Groenplaats’ and the Big Market, the designer shops and the ‘Kloosterstraat’, known for its antique en curiosa. The ideal spot to discover Antwerp! It's locatiion, a charming little square in the very center of Antwerp (fashion district area) is literally around the corner of everything you want to see in this beautifull city. Aplace has 2 large suites and 2 city flats: Both suites and flats have been completely renovated since december 2012. They are decorated in vintage style combined with a few new objects which quarantees you a warm and cosy home. - The suites both have a sitting corner with sofa, digital tv, a docking station, dvd-player, a shared kitchinette with Illy espresso machine, a perculator and a little fridge. The bathroom has a walk-in / rainshower. One of them has an amazing square view, the large windows offers you a postcard view at night. The second suite is situated in the back of the building and is extremely cosy. - Both flats have a fully equipped kitchen, a brown marble bathroom with tub/rainshower, a seperate restroom, a very bright and cosy living room and 2 bedrooms. The view on the Vrijdagmarkt is amazing, The large windows offers you a postcard view at night. De Vrijdagmarkt is a quiet square that hasn’t been discovered by the big audience yet and ideal to meet local Antwerp people. Very unique and traditonal is the weekly auction on - fridays - on the ‘Vrijdagmarkt’. Here you can buy for a cheap price exclusive, retro and sometimes even valuable objects. On this square you’ll also find the world famous Plantin-Moretus museum. The only printing/publisher in the world from the Renaissances and baroque time which has kept remained. In the ‘Nationalestraat’ (= around the corner) and in the neighbourhood you can spend your money in various designer shops of famous Antwerp and international designers. Cette belle maison de maître, qui a maintenant une nouvelle destination comme chambres d'hôtes/b&b/guesthouse, était au début des années 1900 la maison d'un diamantair avec ses ateliers de diamant dans le batiment adjacent au n° 22b. Au fil du temps, ces deux bâtiments on perdu leur connection jusqu'a présent. En 2008, nous avons ouvert notre restaurant 22b. En 2017, nous avons eu la chance d'acheter la maison au n°24 pour y réaliser notre b&b. Ce quartier résidentiel a une atmosphère authetique grâce aux habitants juifs qui flanent jusq'aux petites heures dans les rues dans leurs robes noires et chapeaux typiques. Le caractére d'autan du quartier qui était lié à l'industire du diamant, est de cette manière toujours vivant.
