De Vrijdagmarkt is a quiet square that hasn’t been discovered by the big audience yet and ideal to meet local Antwerp people. Very unique and traditonal is the weekly auction on - fridays - on the ‘Vrijdagmarkt’. Here you can buy for a cheap price exclusive, retro and sometimes even valuable objects. On this square you’ll also find the world famous Plantin-Moretus museum. The only printing/publisher in the world from the Renaissances and baroque time which has kept remained. In the ‘Nationalestraat’ (= around the corner) and in the neighbourhood you can spend your money in various designer shops of famous Antwerp and international designers. Children and extra beds : All children under 2 years stay free of charge. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children and adults are charged 30.00 EUR per night and per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds / baby cots in a room is 1. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
