The rich history of the building was restored with an eye for craftsmanship and the style of the olden times. The grandeur of the various rooms is overwhelming, but at no point does it compromise the sense of home. In each of the Cobergher rooms and suites, renowned decorator Pieter Porters wrote a unique story together with interior designers Dejaegere.

The different styles they used ensure that hotel guests can enjoy a new and surprising décor every time they stay.

Hotel Aragon is situated in the historical center of Bruges at only 100 meters from the Main Market Square. The hotel has been renovated in 2016. De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
