"Menin Gate House" is a charming holiday built in 1923 and completely renovated in 2011. It is the ideal base to explore Ypres and Flanders Fields. Staying in the house is a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate. Notes of the daily Last Post Ceremony carryinto the beautifull rooms and bring you in the atmosphere of World War 1.

Featuring its own cosy restaurant, this small and friendly establishment is ideally situated just 30 metres from the beach of Koksijde, making it an ideal place for a beach holiday. Hotel Lehouck offers a selection of pleasant and comfortable rooms, each of which are equipped with a television and a bathroom with a shower. Other than the beach, you could go on a shopping trip in the town or visit the Plopsaland theme park. The tram which passes all the coastal cities can be taken right in front of this family-friendly hotel. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
