This hotel is housed in the former gaol of Vilvoorde. After an eventful life as a reform school, barracks and prison, The Lodge is now home to guests from all around the world. The wonderful site, the atmospheric and authentic rooms, and the quiet surroundings are the main strengths of this location.
Each room has its own private atmosphere. The themes reflect the former gaol by making use of various pictures, colours and some surprising touches. The well-looked after bedrooms contain every modern luxury. The beautiful vaulted common areas, decked out in red brick, were restored in all their glory and now serve as a breakfast room and bar.
