Built in 1929 as a grand summerhouse for General Timmerman by architect Vaerwyck, inspired by the famous English architect Lutyens.

Het Zonnehuis has been completely restored and redecorated by Bertrand Depry and Jan Vermast.

The house is now an exclusive Bed & Breakfast and regained its former grandeur. Het Zonnehuis has 4 luxury rooms, a Junior suite and a holiday house for 4 persons.

The large breakfast has also a British touch: English marmalades, English cheese, smoked salmon, eggs are made à la minute, Brussels waffles, fresh juice, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad. Our roads are easygoing, but beware, there are also some treacherous slopes. You can map out your own itinerary. And you'll meet appropriate signposts to keep you on the right track. One thing is certain: you'll always find a welcoming cafe to take a "refill", and after your efforts you can be sure, on returning to the "Rentmeesterhoeve", of a refreshing shower awaiting you.
