"Menin Gate House" is a charming holiday built in 1923 and completely renovated in 2011. It is the ideal base to explore Ypres and Flanders Fields. Staying in the house is a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate. Notes of the daily Last Post Ceremony carryinto the beautifull rooms and bring you in the atmosphere of World War 1.

Set in a monumental building in the centre of Ypres, Hotel Main Street offers spacious, design rooms with free Wi-Fi and large flat-screen TVs. It serves an extensive breakfast every morning. Each room comes with large box spring beds and luxurious duvets. Guests benefit from a Nespresso coffee machine, a DVD player and free choice of DVDs. The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. The surrounding public domain has been restored to his former splendor in respect with the spirit and the style of the “fin de siècle”.
