It is a semi-open development where the house of the owners is adjacent to two holiday homes with their own name. Both houses are licensed separately and have a separate entrance.

In the center of a quite neighbourhood 'BILDERDIJK' is found, Stylish renewed. The rooms offers you a maximum of comfort: bath or shower, w.c., lavabo, television, telephone and mini bar. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
