The Ahoi is a unique, small-scale, very affordable boat hotel with bistro and bar on the river Leie in the center of Kortrijk. Bistro Bar Bootel Ahoi is located approx. 500 m from the Grote Markt and the Broel Towers, approx. 1 km from the train station and approx. 3 km from the trade fair Kortrijk Expo. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Leie from inside the rooms or from the bistro bar and in good weather from our deck terrace or our terrace in front of the boat. Parking is free on Sundays, public holidays and between 7:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Parking costs max. € 4 per day during the day along the Leie.

Bootel Ahoi

has 9 rooms, each with its own shower and toilet and mobile air conditioning, directly overlooking the water (see our "virtual tour" above the room description). Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Monday - Saturday). Attention: 3rd Saturday of the month: check-in before 4:00 PM!

Breakfast

can only be booked on site upon arrival before 22:00. Non-hotel guests can book via info@ahoi.be. Minimum amount of breakfasts: 4. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 (Tuesday - Saturday) & on Sunday from 10:00 - 12:00. Bar

serves + 30 Belgian beers, including draft lager, Paix Dieu, Brugse Zot and St. Bernardus, selected wines, top cocktails and a nice range of mocktails. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed on Sundays from October through May.

Kortrijk

is not only the city of the Battle of the Golden Spurs and Museum Kortrijk 1302, but also of: the Broel Towers, the Grote Markt with the belfry and town hall, the Begijnhof, the Museum Texture, shopping center “K in Kortrijk” and the surrounding pedestrian shopping streets, the Buda island and the (lowered) banks of the Leie. From Kortrijk you are in Roeselaere in barely 20 minutes with the new Museum KOERS or in Ypres where you will experience a goose bumps moment every evening at 20:00 during the daily Last Post performance under the Menin Gate. Or visit about 45 minutes driving away: the UNESCO and chocolate city of Bruges, Ghent - Europe's best kept secret according to Lonely Planet -, the oldest city in Belgium Tournai, Oudenaarde and the mythical hills of the Tour of Flanders and the “Ronde van Vlaanderen” museum, or the city of Lille just across the border in France. Situated in the very heart of the “Bel Epoque” District of Ostend, our city by the sea, the “Villa Les Pâquerettes” lies in walking distance of the beach of course, but equally on merely a few hundred yards away from the Wellington racetrack, the Casino, the golf course, the swimming pool, the library, the KVO Versluys soccer stadium and the BCO basketball stadium. The posh boutiques and gastronomical highlights are only a few minutes away and the costal tram offers you a stop at a two hundred yards distance.

The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. The surrounding public domain has been restored to his former splendor in respect with the spirit and the style of the “fin de siècle”.

Built in 1929 as a grand summerhouse for General Timmerman by architect Vaerwyck, inspired by the famous English architect Lutyens.

Het Zonnehuis has been completely restored and redecorated by Bertrand Depry and Jan Vermast.

The house is now an exclusive Bed & Breakfast and regained its former grandeur. Het Zonnehuis has 4 luxury rooms, a Junior suite and a holiday house for 4 persons.

The large breakfast has also a British touch: English marmalades, English cheese, smoked salmon, eggs are made à la minute, Brussels waffles, fresh juice, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad. Bread is coming from the bakery in the village. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 11 a.m. at the big table, the small table or at the heated terrace.
