25 individual decorated rooms, all with ensuite bathroom. All rooms have lCD flat screen television, radio, clock, wireless internet and telephone. The bathroom has a shower/bath, sink, toilet, enough towels, make-up mirror, hairdryer and luxury soaps. the hotel is very well known for his breakfast buffet. Different egg preparations , bacon, fresh fruit juices, fresch fruit salad, yoghurt, a whole range of croissants and danish pastries, differents sorts of small crunchy bread, different sorts of sliced bread, several sorts of meat, smoked fisch, a range of cheeses and of course for those who like it sweet a range of jams, chocolate and honey. All hot drinks are served and on Sundays you will find Champagne on the buffet. The hotel is situated in a very quiet street in the center of Oostende. Gastenverblijf De Arend is located in the historic centre of Nieuwpoort-city at 300 m from the tram/bus-stop. Three spacious comfortable rooms located on the first floor and three comfortable rooms located on the second floor accessible by stairs. The beautiful garden offers the possibility to relax during the beautiful days. On the ground floor you can enjoy in our ice cream shop artisan ice creams, pancakes and waffles. In the Hall there is a bicycle shed with loading point. Free parking is available in the streets behind our guesthouse. At walking distance you will find a wide selection of cosy restaurants. "Menin Gate House" is a charming holiday built in 1923 and completely renovated in 2011. It is the ideal base to explore Ypres and Flanders Fields. Staying in the house is a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate.
