De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.

Built in 1898, the hotel combines tradition with modern comforts and services. Every morning we offer an elaborate breakfast buffet and full English breakfast in our romantic breakfast room. There's also the possibility to reserve your 4-course dinner at the hotel.

Villa Hotel "adults only" is situated in a quiet residential villa area. Just a 5 minute walk away you will find yourself in the tourist centre of Westende-Bad with its tram stop.
