Hostel "De Ploate" has moved into in brand-new building. The hostel has an excellent location for a unique combination of city & sea: situated in the city centre, at a mere 150 meters from the beach and at a walking distance of the fishing port and train station. It is a nice and modern youth hostel aiming at ecological, low-budget and social tourism.

The story of Hotel Du Parc is infused with the presence of inspiring writers and notable guests, including Albert Einstein, James Ensor and the legendary musician Arno. Their presence has imbued the rooms with a unique ambiance.

Today, after a thorough restoration in 2023, Hotel Du Parc shines with renewed splendour. It carefully preserves the beautiful Art Deco elements and welcomes a new pioneer: Shannah Zeebroek, our passionate sommelier and hostess. Her passion for quality, creativity and hospitality forms the heart of the renewed experience.
