This property is 4 minutes walk from the beach. Gatsby Hotel Blankenberge is conveniently located in the centre of Blankenberge, 100 m from the beach and the North Sea shore, the main shopping centre and the train station.

A central yet quiet location in Middelkerke, on the Belgian coast, within walking distance of the beach, sea, promenade and shopping center. The focus is not only on tight and warm but also on contact with nature. Both the outside and the inside are completely made of wood and finished down to the smallest details. De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
